Delbarton School Trinity Hall Upgrades

Jan 20, 2016

Beach Electric is currently working on a project at the Delbarton School, an all-boys parochial school for grades 7-12, located in Morristown, NJ.   With an enrollment of over 540 students, Delbarton is one of the foremost independent college preparatory schools in the country.  The impressive 200 acre campus, with four academic buildings, a formal garden, science pavilion, library and fine arts center, is set in the hills of western New Jersey and has been educating young men since 1939.

A series of electrical upgrades is being performed at the 41,000 SF Trinity Hall building.  In the near future the building will undergo a 15,000 SF expansion including the installation of a new building-wide HVAC system.   In order to accommodate the new space, the existing 1600 amp electrical service is being upgraded to a 2000 amp service.  The existing transformer and main distribution switchboard will be replaced and new electrical panels will be added.   In addition, a new power feed will be installed for the 29,000 SF Science Pavilion which is currently powered by the existing 1600 amp service.

We would like to thank Michele Rimpel and the people at Delbarton for their help and look forward to the completion of a successful project.
