Port Authority of NY & NJ: Priority Repairs of Bridges at Newark Liberty International Airport Newark, NJ

Railroad Construction Co., Inc. was awarded a contract with the Port Authority of NY & NJ for Priority Repairs of Bridges at Newark Liberty International Airport. 

This project entails vertical and overhead spall repairs to concrete box beams and girders. Some of these repairs have included bearing replacements at two bridges  that required both bridges to be temporarily jacked to complete the repair; installation of three new handicap ramp deck joints, strip seals and tee's at both Terminals A and B; installation of two new roadway deck joints, one on the Express Roadway and the other at the entrance to Parking Lot P3; and various saw cutting and resealing of the gap between the asphalt roadway and concrete.  All work is being done at night on a limited work window.
