Phelps Construction Group has awarded Beach Electric Company, Inc. a contract to perform the electrical installation in the new gymnasium at the TEAM Academy Charter School in Newark, NJ.  The 6,500 SF addition to the existing school includes a lobby, gymnasium, restrooms, storage rooms and utility room.

The scope of work will include the installation of temporary and permanent light and power, devices, wiring and coordination for all equipment.  In addition, we will be working closely with the block masons to provide a recessed electrical installation in the walls.  Beach will also install the electrical element of the HVAC equipment and motor starters as well as the empty conduit backbone pathway for the speaker systems and controls.  New clock assemblies and relocated security cameras are also included.
